I just wanted to pop in and share some of the things I have been creating and what I have been up to!!!
The weather has been so darn nice here on Vancouver Island- I have been working in the garden and going for lots of strolls. I even got a photo of me with ALL 5 kids… this is a rarity!
I felt like we were being watched! Stalker kitty… go away.
Back to sanity:
I have been inspired by my daughter’s obsession with flower fairies lately so I painted this nifty fairy garden scene and slapped a birch button tree right on there:
I was having such a hard time deciding what color of buttons to use, so I laid out a few options and asked my lovely Facebook likers for their opinions:
Which one is your fave? It seemed that the votes were evenly split, so I’ve decided to offer this for sale as a semi-customizable painting!!! YOU can choose whichever buttons you’d like, AND I can even squeeze a little name on there, within reason… I can’t fit ‘john michale fitzgerald III’ on here or anything, like so:
This and some of my nifty jewelry, which I will share in a second, will be up for sale at my monthly upload with The Northern Collective, which is an awesome group of Canadian crafters that I am so honored to be a part of! Check out just a bit of what will be available TOMORROW NIGHT (June 3rd 6pm PST) :
I’ve brought back my ever-popular stand mixer earrings, and this time I’ve got them on hypoallergenic hooks, as I know a few of you have requested that:

These babies are less than 10 bucks, and are perfect for your favorite baker. Personally, I am my own favorite baker, so don’t feel bad about buying them for yourself either 😉 I have only got 12 pairs, so make sure to set an alarm so you can snag a pair!
I’ve also made a few of these adjustable leather butterfly bracelets:
Another great thing that has happened in our family is that my little bambino, Flora, finally got her kidney surgery that she has been waiting for! Hopefully this means no more bad infections or meds, and she can get her appetite back! Look at this happy chilappy, she kicked surgery’s butt!
Well, thanks for taking the time to stop in and see what I am up to!!! If you want to check out my tutorial on how to paint your own nifty button tree, you can check one out here.
Happy almost-summer!!!

Hooray for Flora, who’s already an amazing little warrior woman! 🙂 Sending lots of love to you both. I hope everything sells quickly this month!
