Hello, Bloggy world! I can’t believe it’s already MAY!
It is starting to look like summer over here, and I hope the sun is shining on you too! We were lucky enough to enjoy a picnic the other evening… pretty nice view here on Vancouver Island:
We even got to watch crazy people jump off the bridge, which is always a good influence, hahaha!
I know I haven’t been blogging as much lately, but I’ve wanted to get back to the more regular posts, since Facebook isn’t letting most of my readers see what I’m up to anymore! Mark Zuckerberg, if you are reading this, which you OBVIOUSLY are, give me a break! Maybe I should start a petition to convince the Facebook gods to accept buttons as payment for advertising. I will get on that.
Since it’s been so long, I wanted to share a GIVEAWAY, as my sincere apology, but I also want to share a bit of what I have been up to, and some of my new favorite art!

Here is the first one- These birch trees with the woodland critters and the sunset make for such a neat combination! Another thing I really want to share about is my new fave website to zone out on. Saatchi art. I don’t know about you, but I appreciate other people’s artistic talent and style so much. It is so cool to scroll through these pieces for creative inspiration. I fell in love with a few paintings and sculptures and am HOPING my hubby reads this and thinks of Mother’s Day 😉
One of the reasons I have a hard time considering myself to be a ‘professional artist’, is because of art like this:

It is from the Really Real collection, which is MINDBLOWING. I could stare at stuff like this for so long. The amount of time and talent required to create art this impressive is something that I just don’t have access to. It is no short of a divine gift, if you ask me!

I love the bike bracelet! It reminds me of a shirt my sister used to have that had a picture of a girl and a bike on it and said, “Hot Girl? or Bike?” It was pretty awesome. 🙂
